Please note that you may not receive your schedule until the first day of school.

This orientation will contain 8 sections or stops to visit in order to complete BAVA's Virtual Orientation.

Stop 1: Verify proof of residency for the 2024/25 school year and complete the Free and Reduced Lunches form if your household qualifies. The Returning Student Registration is required in order to be re-enrolled for this school year.

Stop 2: Learn what Virtual school will look like on a daily basis for both parents and students. This section also contains printable resources to help families adapt to online learning successfully!

Stop 3: Learn about the curriculum that your student will be using and how to log in or monitor the program as a parent.

Stop 4 : Review BAVA's policies and complete the mandatory Virtual Learning Contract.

Stop 5: Get information on how to get a school issued Chromebook if you need one, pay for Chromebook insurance, and learn how to log in as a Learner.

Stop 6: View information on how to receive help or guidance for classwork, a broken student device, and trouble logging in.

Stop 7: 'Meet' the staff at BAVA and identify who your learner's Success Champion will be this year. Each teacher will have information about themselves, their office hours, and contact information.

Stop 8: Acknowledge that you have reviewed and completed the entirety of the Virtual Orientation.

Returning Student Registration and Child Nutrition

Directions: 1. Complete Residency Verification. 2. Click on the Child Nutrition tab and if your household meets the qualifications you are required to complete the Free & Reduced Meal Plan form.

Please note: You may have completed this process in May when the email was sent out. If you cannot remember if you have completed this process, please contact your school site.

Broken Arrow Public Schools is in the process of verifying proof of residency for the 2024-25 school year. This verification is required in order to be re-enrolled for next school year.

All parents with correct email addresses in our system received an email from noreplyregistration containing a “snapcode” and directions to begin the online verification process. If you are unable to locate your email containing residency verification instructions please try using the search keyword "snapcode".

Begin the Returning Student Registration (If you have enrolled at the enrollment office or already completed this through the email request you can skip this step)

Child Nutrition

Free/Reduced Meal Program

Families who may qualify for Free and Reduced lunches are required to complete the Free and Reduced Lunch Application.

Broken Arrow Public Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program. Through this program, students may qualify for free and reduced rates for breakfast and lunch based on household size and income.

Do I Qualify?

Students who wish to participate in the program must enroll or re-enroll each school year. Online application links for Free/Reduced Meals are listed below for the 2024-25 school year.

The application is only available online for this new school year. The district will not be accepting any paper application forms.

Students who are direct certified DO NOT need an application. They should receive their letters in the mail.

Please reach out to your assigned teacher if you are needing help with navigating the programs, accessing materials, completing assignments, or issues with grades. If you feel like you are falling behind and need tutoring you can schedule time to work one on one with your virtual teacher as well. Teacher availability and contact information can be found below in the Meet the Staff section of Stop 5.

💻 Broken Chromebook or Charger

If you need to have your school issued device repaired please stop by 412 S. 9 Street | Broken Arrow, OK 74012 | 918-505-5270 to drop of your device for repair, pick up a loaner, or pay charges owed for uninsured damages.

🖱️ Trouble Logging in

If you have trouble logging in to any of the programs used in BAVA education please reach out to your Success Champion. You will learn more about who your Success Champion is below in Stop 5.

Last Stop

Now that you have gone through the first six stops of the Virtual Orientation, the last stop is a form for the Guardian/Learning Coach to fill out in order to ensure that no critical information was missed at any of the stops.

You must complete this form to attend Broken Arrow Virtual Academy. If you do not complete the form, your student will be removed from the program.

Please fill out the form below and verify that each task has been reviewed or completed. If you find that you have accidentally not completed a step when filling out the form, please stop and complete that step before returning to the form.
